Band Banquet May 19

This Monday May 19th we will have our Annual Band Banquet at 6:30pm in the CHHS Cafeteria.  This is a potluck dinner for all band class students, marching band, color guard and their families.  The new Band Council and Band Booster Board for next year will be announced.  We will celebrate seniors that are graduating and watch the yearly picture slideshow!

Please see our Volunteering tab at the top of this webpage to sign up for the potluck dinner.   We need more volunteers to bring food!

January Booster Meeting Minutes

The minutes from last week's Booster meeting are now available.  You can read them by using the Forms and Information tab at the top of this website.  Our big announcement is a cancellation of Spring Tour.  We are working on finding an alternative to salvage the tour.  Please read the minutes for more information.  Thank you to all who attended our meeting.

Pep Band is starting!

Pep Band has started as of yesterday.  Another practice will be held on Tuesday, Jan 14th 3:15-4:15pm in the CHHS Band Room.  Any band student 8-12 grades is welcome to join us!  Below you will see a listing of the home basketball games at which we will be playing.  More information will come later as to times for these games, but plan on them all being in the evening on these dates.

New CHHS Band Website

Mr. Simpson has started a new website for the Bands at CHHS.  Right now it is just starting up, but please keep a watch on it for updates.  The website is www.copperhillsbands.org.  This website will also update to the Band’s Facebook and Twitter pages.  We will still be running this Band Boosters website as well.  Together they should be able to keep us all informed.

Football game Friday Sep 27

Come yell and scream and cheer on our Grizzlies!  We have our next home football game this Friday, September 27^th.  Call time for the band and color guard is at 5:00pm.  They will practice some before the game instead of having an early morning practice on Saturday.  Students should wear their FALL band t-shirt for their uniform.  The band will do a pregame show and then play pep band music during the game.  They will maybe even perform part of the half time show this time.  Any student who has done summer or fall marching band can come play pep band at any of the football games.  The game starts at 7:00pm.  The students get in for free, but tickets for everyone else are $5.  Parents wear your Band Parent Shirts to show your support.  Students will stay after the game to preload the trailer for Sat morning competition.
