TNT Fireworks show June 1

Since we are selling TNT fireworks this year, we are all invited to a free fireworks show put on by TNT.  It is a way for us to know what the products look and sound like.  So that we may help customers decide on products to buy.  The show will be held at the TNT offices parking lot (9785 South 500 West) on Saturday, June 1 at 8:00pm.  Bring folding chairs to sit and enjoy the show!  It’s fun for your whole family. 

We will not have the fireworks signups ready yet for you.  We haven’t yet found out the dates we will be open.  When we get that, then the signups will become available online at our website.

June 13 Booster Meeting

Our next Band Boosters Meeting will be on Thursday June 13 at 6:30pm in the CHHS Band Room.  Please join us as we discuss the upcoming summer mb season, fireworks sales, and volunteer opportunities.  We value everyone's input and need everyone's help to make our program a success!!

CHHS Night of the Arts and MB fee due TODAY

Tonight come join us for CHHS Night of the Arts.  All the performing arts groups at the high school combine to give one giant show!   The show will be at 7:00pm in the auditorium.  It will be spectacular and we hope to see you all there.

Also, today the first Marching Band/Color Guard payment is due.  A minimum of $75 needs to be paid with the remaining balance for summer fees due in June.   For current high school students, you may pay online through Skyward.  For middle school students, please pay in the CHHS main office and email your receipt number, amount paid, and student’s name to us at copperhillsbandboosters@gmail.com.

Fees Due May 29th

This is another reminder about summer Marching Band/Color Guard Fees.  The first installment of at least $75 is due next Wednesday, May 29th.  For the current high school students, we have given the list of participating students to the main office and they are putting the summer fees only on the those students' skyward accounts.  Fall fees will not be added to students' accounts until July.  For those currently in middle school, please come to the CHHS main office to pay fees.  You can then email student name, amount and receipt number to us so we know the fees have been paid.  Thank you for your cooperation!

Spring Band Concert Thurs May 16

The Spring Band Concert will be held Today, May 16th at 7:00pm.  Jazz, Symphonic and Concert Band students have been working hard to bring us a great show! 
Let's pack the auditorium!  Please feel free to invite family and friends to join us.  See you all there!

 

Reminder - Band Fees Due Date May 29

This is a reminder that the first payment due date for Marching Band and Color Guard is approaching.  A minimum payment of $75 is due on Wednesday, May 29th.  The online payments through Skyward (available only for current high school students) should be usable before that due date.   Check your student's Skyward account to see if band fees have been added yet.  If not, wait until closer to the due date or pay at the CHHS main office.  For middle school students, please pay in the CHHS main office.  If paying in the office, please email copperhillsbandboosters@gmail.com with your student's name, payment amount and receipt number (or you can put a copy of receipt and fee form in the band room box).  Thank you!

Band Banquet TONIGHT!

We’d like to invite all band and color guard students and their parents to join us for our end-of-year banquet.  It starts at 6:30pm tonight at CHHS.  Please bring a potluck dish to share.  Awards will be passed out and next year’s student band council announced.  We will also have a slideshow of the year’s activities to watch.  See you then!

Percussion and Guitar Ensemble Concert

Color Guard and Marching Band Contracts Due Now!

Contracts are due for Marching Band and Color Guard.  If you are planning on doing either activity for summer OR fall, we need those contracts turned in now!  If you do not get your contract in soon, you may not get your summer shirt in time for our first parade.  Please get them filled out and turned in to the box in the band room.  Look at the Forms tab on this website, if you need to print a contract.  Thank you!

End-of-year Band Banquet

We'd like to announce the Band Banquet will be held on Monday, May 13th at 6:30pm.  This banquet is for band students and their parents.  It will be a potluck gathering, so plan on bringing your best tasting dishes to share!  Awards will be given out at this event.

Mr. Simpson will be holding further tryouts for next year's Symphonic Band on Monday, May 6th at 3:45pm in the CHHS Band Room.  If you did not yet get the chance to audition, please come now.
