Marching...University Style!

Every year, our students are given an opportunity to march with one of the major colleges in Utah for a game day.  It's a great way to introduce your child to the world of college music and the kids usually have a great time!  This is completely optional and all registration is done by the individual.  The information is here to make that process easier for you.  Please read everything carefully as you register!  A couple of the programs only allow Juniors and Seniors to participate.  Check the dates, too.  There are two events happening the same weekend.

Here are your choices:

BYU High School Band Day

Weber State Wildcat Experience

University of Utah Experience

Have fun!

Insurance Paperwork for Red Rocks

Here is the link for the final insurance paperwork we need for every student going on the overnight trip to St. George in November.  It must be completed with copies of insurance cards attached, and notarized before the student is good to go.  Thanks!

Prop Building Time!

Prop building commenced on Saturday, Sept. 2nd at the Furnell's house.  Several parents and band members came out to help with the project.  The props are going to be a great asset to the show this year!  Thanks to the Furnells for designing the props and getting all of the materials ready for us to build them.

Saturday Practices

Mr. Matthews has added two additional dates to the list of regularly scheduled practices.  They are:

Saturday, September 9th from 8:00 a.m.--12:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 23rd from 8:00 a.m.-- 1:00 p.m.  (Lunch will be provided by the boosters.)

Although the practices will still be held, please let us know if your child has a conflict with those days.  Please make sure to specify which days they have a conflict so we know how many kids will be in attendance.  These practices will be very important to the welfare of the show this year so please make it a priority.
